Funeral services for 91 year old Eunice D. Barber-Patterson, of Columbus Junction, Iowa will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 1997 at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Eunice died on Saturday, September 20, 1997 at the Colonial Manor Care Center in Columbus Junction. A memorial has been established at the funeral home.

Eunice D. Stout was born July 8, 1906 in Minburn, Iowa to Chrittendon and Charlotte Myers Stout. Eunice married Raleigh Dean Barber, April 2, 1925 in Iowa. Raleigh preceded Eunice in death April 22, 1983. Eurnice later married Hartford Patterson, July 5, 1984 in Muscatine, Iowa. Eunice had been a homemaker all her life and had lived in Columbus Junction since 1944.

Eunice is survived by her husband, Hartford Patterson, Albany, Oregon; 4 chilren, Mrs. Gloria Oliver, Dana Pointe, California, Raleigh Dean Barber, Jr., Grandview, Iowa, Lois Bliven, Iowa City, Iowa, and David Barber, Honolulu, Hawaii. There are 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Eurnice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raleigh Dean Barber, a son, Howard Kenneth, 4 brothers, and 5 sisters.
