Marie CUTKOMP dies at age 79

Miss Mary Marie CUTKOMP, 79, died at her home in Columbus City Thursday, August 18.

She was the daughter of Lee and Carrie BOULTON-CUTKOMP and was born April 7, 1904, in rural Columbus Junction. She attended Greenville College, Greenville, Illinois, and was a teacher in rural schools until her retirement. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church.

One brother, Stanley CUTKOMP of Wever, Iowa, survives. Her parents preceded her in death.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Free Methodist Church in Columbus City with Rev. Norman Channel and Rev. J.P. Knepper officiating. Organist was Mrs. Roger KUTKOMP and vocalists were Rev. and Mrs. Norman Channel. Casket bearers were Roger, Ron, Feryl and Tyrone CUTKOMP, Larry Jennings, and Dave Fincher.

Burial was in Columbus City Cemetery with Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in charge.
