Services held for Hazel CALVELAGE, 88

Hazel Viola CALVELAGE, 88, a resident of the Hershey Convalescent Home, died there early Sunday, October 4.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The daughter of Francis and Phoebe VERRIER-McCULLOUGH, she was born August 21, 1893, in Buffalo. She was a life resident of the surrounding area.

Her marriage to George CALVELAGE took place February 18, 1914, in Davenport.

Survivors include two sons, Donald of Columbus Junction and William of Muscatine; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) SIZEK of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Bernice WRIGHT of Muscatine; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1962, two sons, two sisters and five brothers.
