LETHA ANN HALL

Funeral services for Letha Ann HALL, 91, of Washington, were held Monday, January 30, 1995, at 10:00 a.m. at the Marion Avenue Baptist Church, Washington, Iowa, with Rev. Larry Brown officiating. Arrangements were provided by Jones Funeral Home in Washington. Burial was in the Columbus City Cemetery.

A memorial has been established at the church.

Letha died Thursday, January 26, 1995, at the Washington Care Center, Washington, following a short illness.

Letha Ann BODEN was born September 5, 1903, in Cairo, Iowa, to Thomas M. BODEN and Ella Jane VANHORN-BODEN. She married Floyd W. HALL October 20, 1920, in Columbus City, Iowa. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband farming in the Spring Run Community until 1965, when they moved to Washington. Letha was a member of the Marion Avenue Baptist Church and was faithful to the Bible teaching and the progress of her church.

Survivors include six children, Mrs. Neil (Melba) GRIM of Columbus Junction, Mrs. Clarence (June) KOEPPING of Lincoln, Nebraska, Herbert HALL of Normal, Illinois, Wendell HALL of Packwood, Iowa, Mrs. Robert (Peggy) BUFFINGTON of Washington, Iowa and Mrs. Joyce LINTCHICUM of Casagranda, Arizona; 28 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd, in 1974; two sons, Alfred and Gary; one daughter, Jewell DOWELL; two brothers and four sisters.
