Mrs. Thomas NELSON Died in Kansas

Mrs. Lydia E. NELSON, Riley Kansas resident for the past year died at the Riley County hospital in Manhattan, Kansas Friday morning, September 25, 1959.

Mrs. NELSON was born May 19, 1885 in Chicago, Illinois. In 1913, she married Rev. Thomas NELSON, a Presbyterian minister. Rev. NELSON served as pastor of the Cotter and Salem Presbyterian churches from 1949 to 1952.

She is survived by a son, Willard NELSON of Clay Center, Kansas. Her husband preceded her in death a year ago.

Funeral services were held Sunday, September 27, in the Riley Presbyterian Church with Rev. Carter McKemy in charge. Burial was in the Riley Cemetery.
