Mrs. Hubert HERRON Died In Texas*

Mrs. Homer HERRON, a former Iowa resident, died Friday, December 1965 in Nederland, Texas, after an illness of three years. She was 46 years old.

The funeral was Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Jones Funeral Home at Wa---ton with Rev. Stan Woeste in ch--- Burial in Ainsworth cemetery.

Dixie Simons was born January --, 1919 at Columbus City, a daughter of Theodore J. and Cecil HEATHCOTE--ONS. She was reared in Washington and married there February 2, 1943 to Homer HERRON. They moved to Texas in ----.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters; Mrs. Bonnie Jean Cobb w--- now with her husband who is stationed in Scotland and Genna at home; one son, David at home; her mother --- Cecil Simmons of Nederland, Texas --- these brothers and sisters; Mrs. ---(Maxine) Chamberlin of Omaha, NE --- of Pasadena, California, Roma --- Port, Texas, Mrs. Wilma Wall--- San Pablo, California; Mrs. Cloid--- Pomona, California; Lloyd of Re---, California and Mrs. Reta Bur--- Waco, Texas.
