WAGNER services Saturday

Viola Mae WAGNER, 72, of Route 2, Columbus Junction, died this afternoon at Morning Sun Manor after an extended illness. Services will be Saturday, September 29, at 10:30 a.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Chapel.

Visitation begins Friday at 12 noon and burial will be in the Cedar Bethel Cemetery.

Viola was born May 14, 1912, in Muscatine to Fred and Elizabeth Wymer Stratton. She married Leo WAGNER on August 23, 1930 at Columbus Junction.

Survivors include her husband, daughters, Mrs. Frank (Harriet) Bass of Columbus City; Jaunita Lobdell, Davenport; Mrs. Merlin (Mona) Alloway, Muscatine: Mrs. Harold (Marilyn) Brockert, Toolsboro; Mrs. Donald (Sharon) Stevens, Cambridge, Illinois; Mrs. Harold (Margaret) Mesecher, Columbus Junction; Peggy Burmeister, Columbus Junction; Mrs. Duane (Patti) Adcock, Muscatine; Mrs. Ronald (Kerry) Ziehl, Columbus Junction.

Sons are Robert of Buffalo, Jack of Columbus Junction, and David and Randy both of Muscatine; four brothers, James and Raymond of Muscatine; Harold of Davenport and Fred of Sacramento, California; four sisters, Mrs. Cloyce (Mildred) Houseal of Davenport; Mrs. Henry (Freida) Wehmeyer, Muscatine; Mrs. Betty Steinson of Muscatine; and Mrs. Dick (Vera) Millet of Kewanee, Illinois; 52 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
