Paul J. LUTZ

Funeral services for 84 year old Paul J. LUTZ of Columbus Junction, formerly fo Conesville, Iowa, were held on Friday, June 16, 1995, at 2:00 p.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction, Iowa. Rev. Walden Paige officiated teh service and music was provided by Donna Belle Hughes and Kristie Cummings. Casketbearers were Paul Lowe, Steve Nielsen, Dick Pugh, Art Pugh, and Dr. Jerry F. Carey. Interment was in the Lone Tree Cemetery, Lone Tree, Iowa.

Paul died on Wednesday, June 14, 1995, at the Colonial Manor Care Center, Columbus Junction, Iowa. A memorial has been established for the Alzheimer's Association and the Colonial Manor Bird Aviary.

Paul was born July 6, 1910, in Lone Tree, Iowa, to Frank and Mary Ellen BILLICK-LUTZ. He Married Elizabeth E. HAMILTON, November 26, 1936, in Quincy, Illinois. Paul retired from the Lutz Insurance Agency in 1985. He was past president of the Louisa Mutual Insurance Association and long tome board member. Paul was a member of the United Church of Christ, Conesville.

Survivors include: a sister, Mrs. Nettie Berven, Iowa City, Iowa. There are several nieces and nephews. Relatives in the area include Mrs. Mary Carey and Mrs. Sonja Zeithamel, both of Iowa City, Daryl LUTZ, Lone Tree, and Mrs. Rose Wagoner, Conesville, Iowa. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, a sister, and his son, Jerry, June 7, 1985, and his wife, Elizabeth, March 3, 1987.
