Gary D. KNAPP

Gary Dean KNAPP, age 40 of Des Moines and formerly of Burlington, died Monday, July 17, 1995 at hes residence. The son of Roscoe Earl "Red" and Mary Lou VERRIPS - KNAPP, he was born September 8, 1954 at Muscatine.

He had attended L & M Schools and received his GED while serving in the US Navy. He was an electrician, having worked several years at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant at Middletown and recently self-employed in Des Moines. He was a member of the electricians union.

His survivors include four children, Nathan, Haley, Bryan and Kelsey KNAPP, all of Burlington; two sisters, Barbara McCleary of Muscatine and Beverly Carlson of Wapello; and a brother, William KNAPP of West Burlington. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 22, 1995 at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello, with Rev. Darryl Erickson officiating. Kathleen Hagele will provide the organ music.

Burial of the cremains will be at the Wapello Cemetery.
