Word has been recieved in this city Monday morning of the death of Zenos Burns, which occured at his home in Newburg, Iowa, last Saturday. Mr. Burns has not been strong for some months but nothing serious was thought to be the matter until a short time before his death. He was a resident of Wapello four or five years, coming here from Illinois, and the latter part of December he rented a farm near Newburg and moved to that place with his family. The cause of his death was appendicitis.

He had been a member of the local M. W. A. Camp for about eighteen months and carried insurance to the amount of $2,000 payable to his wife and two children.
