James Green

James Stewart Green, 65, of Muscatine, died at 1:21 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2006 at Lutheran Homes in Muscatine.

Born May 20, 1941, in Stuben, Wis., he was the son of Lyal and Myrtle Basquin Green.

He worked in auto body repair. His hobbies included playing the guitar and fishing.

Survivors include two daughters, Christina Ludtke of Council Bluffs and Gail Green of Burlington; two step-sons, Jerry Trumbo of Missouri and Douglas Trumbo of Burlington; one step-daughter, Veronica Marut of Burlington; four sisters, Juanita Ochiltree of Oakville, Marquita Palar and Julie Leffel, both of Burlington, and Carol Mahoney of West Point; three brothers, Gary Green, Ronald Green and Monte Green, all of Burlington; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Prugh's Chapel. No formal visitation is planned.

Funeral services for Mr. Green will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Prugh's Chapel, with Chaplain Betty Anna Bremer officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
