eeLaurence Kremer Cutkomp 90, of St. Paul, passed away on February 20, 2006. Larry was a professor of entomology at the University of Minnesota where he conducted research and taught graduate students for nearly 40 years. Larry was president of the St. Anthony Park Association, a member of North Star Ski Touring Club and a volunteer at Como Park Conservatory. Larry was born January 24, 1916, in Wapello, Iowa, the son of Fred Morgan Cutkomp and Glen Kremer Cutkomp. Survivors include his wife, Ethel B. Longley of St. Paul; daughters, Kay (Dave) Bahan of Mechanicville, NY, Terry (Esi) Ostovar of Asheville, NC, and Lee (Dan) Ross of Hovland, MN, and son, Kent (Deb) Cutkomp of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Andrew Cutkomp, Kayhan and Payam Ostovar, Naseem Ostovar (Gideon) Alston, and great-grandchildren, Braden and Whalen Alston. He is also mourned by Ethel's daughters, Barbara and Mary Durfee and their families. A memorial service is planned for 1 PM on Saturday, April 29 at Unity Church-Unitarian located at 732 Holly Ave. in St. Paul.
