PALLETTE-WELK NUPTIALS SOLEMNIZED SATURDAY
The marriage of Miss Anna Welk, daughter of A. Welk, of near Fruitland, and J.B. Pallett, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Pallett, of near Ardon, was solemnized Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the home of the latter's grandmother, Mrs. Jane Long, at 1108 East Second street.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. J.W. Graves, pastor of the First Baptist church and the couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Brown, the latter a sister of the groom. The bride's gown was a pretty creation of tan silk with shadow lace bodice and net trimmings. She carried a shower bouquet of bride roses.
Following the ceremony a wedding repast was served to a company of thirty relatives and friends of the contracting parties. Mr. and Mrs. Pallett will make their home with the groom's parents.
