On Wednesday evening, March 8, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Dalmase gave a reception in honor of their niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Mac Yakle, who were married at Wapello in the Methodist parsonage on Tuesday, p.m. March 7th.

Guests to the number of fifty were invited, among them being a number of children, as the event was also little Miss Neva Dalmase's tenth birthday.

The guests were royally entertained, the host and hostess exerting themselves in every way possible to make the evening pleasant to everyone.

The evening was spent in a social way, some meeting friends they had not met for years. One of the most pleasant features of the evening was the music furnished by a local orchestra, and the vocal and instrumental music furnished by the bride and little Miss Neva, who considering her age, is quite a musician.

About ten o'clock a bountiful supper, consisting of ice cream, cake, candy and oranges, was served. The table where the children ate contained a lovely birthday cake, lit with ten candles, each set in a dainty pink rose. Miss Neva received several beautiful gifts.

Mr. and Mrs. Yakle are widely and favorably known and their host of friends join in wishing them the very best that this life affords.

The bride, a sweet, charming girl, was dressed in a lovely gown of crepe de chien, and the groom, a a handsome young man of splendid character, was dressed in a suit of blue serge.

Out of the harbor into life's sea, In a boat where there's room, dear, for just you and me; Just you in the cabin - the cabin is my heart; So we'll sail on together 'till death do us part.
A GUEST.
