ARRESTED FOR THEFT

Charles Arihood of this county, was arrested by Sheriff R.S. McDaniel at Muscatine Saturday afternoon for the theft of a watch from a resident in the northern part of the county. Sheriff McDaniel understood that Sheriff Wiley of Muscatine clunty had the accused in custody, and accompanied by H. L. Kelly and Frank Grimm went up to get him, but upon arriving found that he was still at large. After a little sleuth work Arihood was apprehended and brought to this city to await the action of the grand jury now in session. Arihood is a young man about twenty-four years of age, and has been a "guest" of the reformatory at Anamosa.
