District Court Clerk R.G. Tipton today received from Secretary Sam D. Wood of the state board of parole, a certificate of the discharge of Edward Middleton, from the state penitentiary at Fort Madison.

Middleton, with Robert Satterthwaite, was convicted in the district court here in December, 1912, on a charge of breaking and entering, both being imprisioned. The former was paroled March 22, 1916, and was dicharged by Governor W.L. Harding Saturday of the past week, the certificate states. Satterthwaite was discharged at an earlier date.
