The Home of Bride Very Beautifully Decorated For the Ceremony Performed By Rev. Austerman - Bride a Chamring Young Woman and Groom Popular Rural Mail Carrier.

A quiet but beautiful wedding occurred Thanksgiving evening at the country home of Mr. and Mrs. P.G. Wiederrecht, when their daughter, Miss Emma Lorena, was united in marriage to Mr. Austin J. Williamson. Promptly at 7 o'clock to the strains of the wedding march, played by Miss Minnie Wiederrecht, a sister of the bride, the happy couple, unattended, took their places near a bank of yellow chrysanthemums, where the ceremony was performed by Rev. F.H. Austerman pastor of the Grace M.E. church. The bride wore a beautiful gown of pearl crepe de chene with salmon colored trimmings, and carried white roses. Only the near relatives of the contracting parties witnessed the services. Following hearty congratulations an elegant wedding feast was served.

The bride is a charming young lady and well known in this county, having taught in the public schools at Columbus Junction and Wapello. She is also an accomplished musician and a member of the choir of the Grace M.E. church. The groom is one of our popular mail carriers and has a host of firends who congratulate him on the bride he has won. Mr. and Mrs. Williamson left on Friday morning for a brief wedding trip, and will be at home to their friends in the groom's beautiful residence on the corner of Fourth street and Washington avenue, after December 5th.
