On Wednesday evening, November 24th 1915, at the pleasant home of Mrs. E.A. Harrison in Letts, an aunt of the bride, occurred the marriage of Miss Vera Johnson and Mr. Eli Lyon, Rev. Boyd, of the U.B. church officiating.

The bride was dressed in a Copenhagen blue chiffron poplin, trimmed in white chiffon and lace. The groom wore a suit of navy blue. A few of the family and immediate friends were present. The guests were as follows: Mrs. E.A. Harrison, Mr. Lem Johnson, Miss Hazel Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lee and daughters, Hallie and Nellie; Miss Jacobs, Mr. and Mrs. John Barker, Mr. and Mrs. Les Hendrix, Rev. Boyd and wife.

A dainty supper was served after the ceremony and the bride and groom departed for the home of the groom.
