The marriage of Miss Zena A. Cross and Verne J. Buster, both of Grandview, took place at the parsonage of the United Brethren church in Mucatine, last Thursday afternoon, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. E. R. McCorkle. They were accompanied by Miss Vinnie Fullerton and Thomas B. Cross, the bride's father.

Both of the young people are well known in Wapello and vicinity and have a host of friends to whom the announcement of the marriage will come as a pleasant surprise. The Republican unites with their large circle of friends and acquaintances in wishing for them unbounded prosperity and happiness.

Mr. and Mrs. Buster will be at home after November 1st, on the bride's father's farm near Grandview, for the time being.
