A double marriage took place last night at the spacious country home of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Freyermuth, the contracting parties being William E. Freyermuth and Emma E. Hucke, Henry T. Hucke and Elizabeth G. Freyermuth, the ceremony being performed by Rev. J. Doden, of Wilton.

The home was beautifully decorated and brilliantly lighted, the parlor in which the ceremonies took place being a power of beauty, the decorations there showing harmonious taste and judgment, and giving a brilliant effect as the guests and bridal party moved about the room. The decorations throughout the house consisted of cut flowers, drooping ferns and potted plants of many descriptions.

About 150 invitations had been issued and after the ceremony had been performed the young people were besieged by the many congratulations of the guests all of which were gracefully received. Many handsome and useful wedding gifts were received.

After the congratulations the guests led by the newly married couples repaired to the dining room and there they found a very elaborate wedding supper in waiting for them, and when that had been disposed of the rooms were cleared and a general good time had.

The young people are among the county's most popular rural residents. Each one enjoys a long list of friends and admirers and they will continue to reside here, Mr. and Mrs. Hucke going on the Barney Miller farm in Bloomington township, and Mr. and Mrs. Freyermuth remaining on the old Freyermuth place.
