Muscatine, Ia., Nov. 10. - (Special) - Glen S. Stephens, aged 22 years, and Miss Fannie Jackson, aged 18 years, both of Grandview, came to town this morning to be married. All went well as a marriage bell. The prospective groom procured his license at the office of the county clerk. But quite a flurry was created soon after when he found he had lost it. After a frantic search he finally called up the clerk to find that it had been returned to the county office. Everything was then adjusted and the young people were married this afternoon by Rev. A.H. Barker, pastor of the East Hill Methodist church. They will reside on a farm near Grand View.
