YOUNG COUPLE WERE MARRIED OVER TWO MONTHS AGO.

Miss Norris and R.E. Vincent Secretly United in Marriage at Rock Island, March 23.

The marriage of Miss Neva Norris and R.E. Vincent, both of this city, will come as a surprise to the many friends of the couple. Over two months ago, the young people went to Rock Island and were secretly married there March 23, Rev. R.V. Williams of the First Methodist church officiating. Mrs. Williams, wife of the pastor, was the only witness present. After the marriage had been solemnized, the groom left for Pennsylvania on a business trip. The bride returned to this city, retaining her maiden name.

Both of the young people came from Letts, but have a large number of friends in this city. Mr. Vincent was employed at the A.W. Morgan drug store for several months and Mrs. Vincent is now stenographer at the Heinz pickle works.

The marriage has been kept secret for over two months, and although there were some suspicions, no one knew whether or not the marriage had been performed.
