Marriage Report False.

The report of the marriage of Miss Osee Anthony and Mr. Henry Hinks of Grandview, which we chronicled last week, is false, according to Miss Anthony, who telephoned to us the first of the week to learn where we got our information. It is all a dreadful mistake.

The information came to this office by letter from Grandview, signed by Garnet Janes of that place. Investigation of the matter brought a denial from Miss Janes of having written the letter, so it appears that the report was sent us by someone who wished to get a joke on the principal parties, or to make it unpleasant for them, one of the two.

Although Miss Anthony is not particularly angered by the mistake, yet she is determined to learn who sent the report in, and Miss Janes is also bent on learning who took the privilege of signing her name to the letter.
