Tuesday evening at the M.E. church in Davenport at 8:30 o'clock occurred the marriage of Miss Osee Anthony and Henry Hicks, both of Grandview, Iowa. The young couple were attended by Miss Maud Keaver of near Wapello, and E.R. Dickerson of Muscatine, close friends of the bride and groom. The bride was charming in a dress of white organdy and the bridesmaid was becomingly attired in a gown of pale blue crepe de chine. It is rumored that there was a double wedding but contracting parties deny this. Mr. and Mrs. Hinks will make their home on the farm near Letts.
