On June 22, 1910, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Jackson, of Grandview, occurred the marriage of their eldest daughter, Helen, to Mr. Joe Neal, formerly of Wapello, now living near Grandview. To the melodious strains of a pretty wedding march so ably played by Miss Ethel Browning, the contracting parties entered the parlor where a modest ring ceremony, performed by Rev. A.H. baker, made them man and wife. Only the immediate relatives and a few close friends were present. the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Neal, a farmer living near Grandview.
