Tom Willet writes of his marriage.

Thomas Willet who was graduated from Winfield Consolidated School with the class of 1942, was married January 16, 1968 to Wanda Lee DeRossett.

This is Tom's third marriage. He has a 20 year old son, James Lee, of Rock Island, Illinois by his first marriage.

He has five daughters, Roseanne, Shyrell, Janice, Dodie and Ellen who reside in LaPuente, California.

Wanda's 10 year old daughter, Roxann Michell DeRossett resides with Mr. and Mrs. Willet at 131 South 83rd Place in Mesa, Ariz. 85201.

The last seven years Mr. Willet has been touring Texas and California with the Hank Snow road troupe of WSM Grand Ole Opry Show.

He now has chronic asthma and emphasema and is no longer too active in the country and western music field but is helping to conduct the Buck Owens shows throughout Arizona. He directed the Buck Owens spectacular at the Phoenix Auditorium January 19. The show featured such stars as Wayland Jennings, Merle Haggard, Bonnie Owens and Glenn Campbell.

Tom is still known to the west coast and in and around the tricities as one of the top lead guitar players and western and country singers.

Wayne Cummings of Winfield was in the congregation at the Velde Rose Methodist Church Sunday, January 14 but got away before Tom could catch him so didn't get to talk to him. Floyd McCaw also lives in Mesa.
