gahan's in fairfax township

My great-grandfather Paul James Gahan and his two
brothers Dennis (Ellen) Gahan and Matthew (Catherine) Gahan and families all came from the La
Salle-Peru area of Illinois around 1870. My geat-grand
father later moved to Benton Co. But the other two
remained in and about Linn County/Fairfax township
for the rest of their lives. The arrived in America via the
Port of New Orleans in 1850 from Wexford, Ireland. I
am interested in any information about them and their
descendents.
Dennis children were Catherine, William, Joseph, and
Micheal and Matthew's were John and Matthew.
I believe Dennis was engaged in farming and Matthew
in commerce (a store?).
