HAVENS, BERRY, USHER

Seeking death information on Henrietta (Nettie)Havens, my great-grandmother, who married Harrison Berry. (She was the daughter of Ransom R. Havens and Olive Usher.) My grandfather Fred M. Berry (deceased) was born to Harrison and Henrietta in Palo, Linn County, Iowa in Feb 1874. His sister, Rosabelle Berry, was born in Linn County in 1876. Shortly thereafter Henrietta (Nettie)died. Family folklore says she died, with a baby in her arms, as she carried lunch to the men who were cutting trees and a tree fell on her. Is there any truth to this legend? When did she die and where she is buried? By 1880 Harrison, shown as widowed, and children were living in Carroll County, Iowa.
