I found the obit for Josie Tolson but could only find a brief mention of J. Edgar Hoover coming to James Tolson's funeral in the Oelwein, Iowa newspaper. I could not find his obit in the Cedar Rapids newspaper, through Newspaper Archive. Not sure if they have all the Cedar Rapids newspapers in their archives. Tolson apparently died in late July 1939.

There were a number of newspaper articles about Clyde Tolson and him working for J. Edgar Hoover but I was unable to find an obituary for him. There was a brief mention of Clyde's death in the Des Moines Register on Tuesday, April 15, 1975, page 4. I did save that and the other articles as PDFs.

I did convert the obit for Josie to a JPG file and can email it and any or all of them to you if you wish. Just me know by emailing me.
