Peacock family brickyard

The Joseph and Mary Kindred Peacock family owned 10 acres of land and operated a brickyard on the S.E. side of Cedar Rapids from 1890 until 1898. The land was between what is now Otis Road S.E. and the Cedar River and is bordered by the Cedar Valley Park on the east side. I am looking for anyone who has information about this site including when the remains of the brickyard were destroyed/covered up or any photos. Any and all help/leads appreciated. LaVerna K.
