Burial Location

TOWNSEND, JAMES BRITTON

I am searching for the burial location for my great grandfather James Britton Townsend. He was born July 29, 1838 in Virginia. The information I have shows he died in Palo, Iowa on October 15, 1924. I have walked through the Palo cemetery but did not find him. His wifes name was Cathering Matilda (Parks) Townsend. Any help is appreciated.
