Benjamin Harris, wife Abigail Brooks Harris, came to Linn County around 1843. He was a justice of the peace in Linn County. Their son, John, married Lucinda Tenne(a)nt, and they had a son, George W. Harris, born in Linn County, Monroe Township, Iowa in 1845. George W. Harris married Adeline Lucinda Guynn. His death certificate indicates his father as Riley Harris, mother as Bertha Tennant. George and Adeline had one son, John Riley Harris. I have just "heard" they also had a daughter, who was disowned. I am looking for a connection to this unnamed daughter (and possibly what happened).

I will gladly share info. Thank you for this opportunity to find my long lost relative. Betty
