IA: Barclay Deweese, white male age 37 born July 1862 in Iowa, parents born Ohio, a farmer; married 7 years; wife Ann age 37 born March 1863 in Ohio as were parents; 3 children all living and all born in Iowa: Pearl age 15 born January 1885 her mother born in PA (from his first marriage), Maria age 5 born Nov. 1894, Laurence age 4 born Oct. 1895, Helen age 2 born Oct. 1897.

1910 US census Brown Twp. Linn Co. IA: Barclay C. Dewees, white male age 47 born in Iowa, father born Iowa mother born Ohio, a farm operator; second marriage for him, first for her; married 17 years; wife Anna S. age 47 born in Ohio as were parents; 6 children all living and all born in Iowa: Maria age 15, Laurence B. age 14, Helen age 12, Hubert L. age 9, Henry E. age 7 and Sheldon A. age 5.
