Death and burial of William L Hoff

I am looking for the death and burial of William L. Hoff. The family story is he died in 1914 in Linn County and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. He was associated with the Interstate School of Commerce in Cedar Rapids. I would like to find further information about this school also. He is being elusive, and I can use your help. Thank you
