The Linn County Genealogical Society have obituaries on file from 1894 to the present time. We have found Robert Westveer's obituary which also tells about his accident. Upon receipt of a check for $5.00 made out to the Genealogical Society of Linn Co., PO Box 175, Cedar Rapids, IA 52406, we will send you the obituary. If you are interested in more than the obit, our research fees are $15 per hr. Our yearly dues are $15 and a quarterly newsletter is sent. Members are charged $10 research instead of $15. Would be happy to send you our brochure and more info about our library contents is you are interested.
