Looking for relatives of the Chattin/Chatten/Chattan Family

I have the following family documented -
James Chattin b. 1798 in New Jersey married Mary Foster 10 Dec 1830 in Springfield, Clark Co., OH. In 1854 the family has moved to Monroe, Linn Co., IA. They are listed on the 1854 census for Iowa. In the 1856 census James lists that he has been in the state of Iowa for 2 years. James died 16 Aug 1870 in Marion, Linn Co., IA. Mary removed with 2 of her boys to Oregon. Through family anecdotes the Chattin family had a dream when leaving Ohio to go to Oregon. James never made it, but 2 of his sons and his wife did. All 5 of their boys served in the civil war on the Union side. They were all in different regiments. James and Mary had the following children -
1. Henry Clay Chattin b. 1833 in Ohio married Lucretia Bayley 1 Mar 1854 in Springfield, OH. Lucretia was born abt 1833 in Ohio. They went to Iowa with his father. Henry died 23 Mar 1923 in a soldier home Kalispell, MT. They had 8 Children Hattie Lucretia, James H., John W., Mary M., Charles F., George, Benjamin, and Blanche. All children were born in Marion, Linn Co., IA.
2. John W. Chattin b. abt 1835 in Ohio died 15 May 1863 in Milikens Bend, LA. James W. Chattin. Age 26 when he enlisted on August 14, 1862 as a private in Company A, 31st Iowa Volunteer Infantry. He died on the floating hospital ship "Nashville" May 15, 1863 at Milliken's Bend, Louisiana.
3. John Foster Chattin b. 25 Dec 1837 Springfield, Clark, OH. He married Mary Tressa Nauman 15 Apr 1868 in Iowa. She was born 14 Mar 1848 in Saxony Germany. Mary died 17 Jan 1939 in Kansas. John died 23 Feb 1914 in Iowa. They had Allen B. who married Mate Potter, Augusta who married Frank Hlodik, Grace, and Lulu. I believe Grace and Lulu died before marriage.
4. Sarah A. Chattin b. abt 1843 in Ohio never married. She died 30 Nov 1914 in Union Co., OR
5. Johnathan R. Chattin b. abt 1846 Ohio never married. He died 5 Sept 1864 Linn Co., IA. He is buried Oak Shade Cemetery.
6. Charles F. Chattin b. Sept 1848 Ohio married Marie Unknown abt 1889. They had 1 known child Lena Maude b. 1892 in Summerville Union Co., Oregon. Charles death unknown.
7. William Rubor Chattin b. 25 Apr 1840 in Clark Co., OH. He married Sarah A. Russell abt 1875 in Iowa. He died 30 Apr 1915 Summerville, Union Co., OR. Sarah died 1917 Oregon. They had Mary S., Charles Howard, Ethel Belle, Violet, and William Foster. All the children were born in Oregon except Violet who was born in Washington.
My goal in to find James H. Chattin b. 1798 parents or siblings. I known Mary Foster's father is suppose to be Thomas. Unsure if this is correct would like to find her siblings or parents as well. I would think that possible Mary's mother's name is Sarah. James Father could possible be Henry. Any help or those searching for these families, I would love to hear from.
