Bertha Elizabeth Williams, resident of Cedar Rapids for the last 20 years, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday (6/6/1944) in the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. B. Siesseger, in North Liberty. She had made her home with a son Lloyd Grant Williams, 220 Fourth St. NW. She was born June 25, 1874, in Michigan.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Henry Seisseger, North Liberty; Mrs. Herbert Kent, Iowa City; Mrs. Harry Gorman, Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. Ralph P. Nash, Springville; one step-daughter, Mrs. Leroy Osborne, Omaha, Neb.; three sons, Lloyd G. Williams, Cedar Rapids; Claude Williams, Los Angeles, Calif.; James W. Williams, Omaha, Neb.; one step-son, Calvin A. Williams, Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Mrs. E. W. Spicher, Vinton; Mrs. Alice Magill, Mrs. Flora Williams, both of Shellsburg; and 13 grandchildren.
The body is at the Brosh Chapel. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Williams Funeral:
Services for Mrs. Bertha Elizabeth Williams, 220 Fourth St. NW, who died Tuesday, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Brosh chapel, with the Rev. Frank Ward officiating. Burial will be in the Shellsburg cemetery.
