Calvin A. Williams, 1722 Fourth Avenue SE, an employee of Klinger Paint Co. 29 years and a Cedar Rapids resident 51 years, died Thursday following a brief illness. He was born Sept. 29, 1887, at Parkers Grove and was married to Etta E. Dash on Aug. 5, 1912, at Waterloo. Surviving are his wife, five sisters, Mary E. Osborn of Omaha, Mrs. Nettie Nelson of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Velma Goss of Iowa City, Leola Nash and Lucille Gorman, both of Marion; two brothers, James W. of Omaha and Lloyd G. of Cedar Rapids. Mr. Williams was a member of the First Baptist church and was an honorary deacon of the church. Memorial services: Turner chapel at 1:30 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Edward V. Douglass. Burial: Oak Hill. Friends may call at the chapel.
