Mrs. Roy Church Dead.
Mrs. Roy Church, 30, died Sunday at 3 a.m. in a Cedar Rapids hospital, following a four years' illness. In spite of intense suffering over a long period, she was patient and cheerful. As Edna Richardson, she was born July 28, 1902, at Galva. She was married to Roy Church of this city July 30, 1920. They began housekeeping in Marion, but later traveled over much of the United States. For the last four years, they had made their home with Mrs. Church's aunt, Mrs. E.A. Cleaver. Mrs. Church is survived by her husband, her father, Fred Richardson of Ida Grove, and two aunts, Mrs. E.A. Cleaver of Marion and Mrs. Dora Holder of Ida Grove. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Yocom chapel. The Rev. C.J. Biddle, pastor of the Christian church, will be in charge. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery.
