Funeral services for Paul (Red) Shaffer, 52, Lisbon, were held at the Federated Church of Lisbon May 15 with the Rev. Kenneth Glover officiating. Burial was in the Lisbon cemetery.

Mr. Shaffer died in an accident east of Tipton May 13.

Born at Sharon Center, he was married to Donna Richert at Nashua Oct. 5, 1954. He moved from Oxford Junction to Lisbon in 1954 and was a concrete truck driver for Manatt's Concrete. He served in the army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of the Federated Church of Lisbon.

He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Karla and a son, Keevin, Lisbon; 5 brothers, Wayne, Traer; Walter, Iowa City; Mervin, Grand Mound, NE; Robert, Cedar Rapids and Delmar, Kalona; a sister, Alverta Williams, Tiffin and his mother, Mrs. Edith Shaffer, Iowa City.
