Funeral services for Mrs. Wayne (Maxine E.) Manatrey, 64, former Tipton resident, will be held at 1 p.m. today (Dec. 30) at the Teahen funeral home, Cedar Rapids, with the Rev. Lee Roy Collins of St. Mark's United Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Manatrey, 4833 Ford Ave. N.W., Cedar Rapids, died Dec. 27 following a lingering illness. Friends may, if they wish, donate to the American Cancer society.

She was born Feb. 20, 1912 and was married to Wayne (Dick) Manatrey in Creston Oct. 28, 1935. They operated the Manatrey Gas and Appliance store in Tipton for many years before moving to Cedar Rapids. She had been employed by Killians.

She is survived by her husband; 2 sons, Donald W., Sterling, Ill. and Joe, Cedar Rapids; a brother, Elmer Easler, Clairmont and a sister, Mrs. Gladys Powers, Scottsdale, Ariz. and 5 grandchildren.
