Died, at the residence of his parents, in this city, Saturday, July 30, 1881, of Scarlet Fever, Howard E. Neff, son of Myron K. and Anna E. Neff, aged nearly three years.

Little Howard was a bright boy, full of promise for the future, and the center of the fondest hopes, but the dear boy has gone from the hearts that nurtured him so fondly and is now safe from the storms of life and all its temptations and sorrows. The fond parents will cherish the memory of his bright winsome life which will still shine in to relieve other dark days yet to come. The deepest sympathy is felt by all for the bereaved parents.
