BARCLAY-Died, at the residence of Dr J. Doron, August 10th, Grace, infant daughter of Rev. W. F. and J. D. Barclay.

Mrs. Barclay was visiting her parents with her beautiful babe, only six months old. She was well, bright and sunny, and shed a new light in the home of her grandparents and into the heart of her father and mother who accepted her as a coveted gift from heaven. But a few days ago she became sick, grew rapidly worse, and death marked her for his own, and she is gone. We buried her in our quiet and beautiful cometery in full hope of resurrection and everlasting life. The funeral services were conducted by Prof. Boyd assisted by the pastor of the Methodist Church.

Mrs. Barclay had nearly finished her visit and was about to return to her home in Albion where the friends in the church and seminary were preparing a surprise for her in the way of a public reception. But she and her husband return to a silent, sad, but by the grace of God not comfortless home.
