Linda Karol Airy, 72, of Robins, Iowa, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Per her wishes, she has been cremated. A cake and ice cream open house will be held Saturday, April 2nd from 1:00 to 4:00PM at Linda’s home.

Linda was born on July 4, 1949, to Paul and Odette (Stanley) Welton in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She graduated from Linn-Mar High School with the class of 1967. She married Philip Wayne Airy on October 11, 2003, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

She enjoyed decorating, crafting, and traveling with her husband. She loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them, especially her grandchildren.

Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband Phil, her father Paul Welton, and her son in law Jeff Tegeler.

She is survived by her mother, Odette Welton; children, Jason (Melissa) Duran, Tamara (Jason) Vavra, Vaughn (Ruthann) Airy, and Michelle (Greg) Hutchinson; grandchildren, Gatty, Lauryn, Kaitlyn, Delaney, and Dalton; niece and nephew, Amy (Max) and Shannon (Jenny); siblings, Mike and Suzanne Welton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids, or the Elephant Sanctuary located in Tennessee.
