CHARLOTTE L. SUNDERMEYER Center Point
Charlotte L. Sundermeyer, 75, of Center Point, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2021. A private family funeral service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, Center Point with the Rev. Thomas Van Hemert officiating. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Earlville, Iowa. Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Earlville is assisting the family. All guests are respectfully required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Charlotte was born Sept. 22, 1945, in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Arthur and Ora (Eldridge) Wilson. She graduated from Gadsen High School, N.M. Charlotte married Roger Sundermeyer on Feb. 14, 1965, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Delaware, Iowa. After farming for several years in Linn County, the couple moved to Center Point in 1973, where they raised their two children. She worked for Frank N. Magid Assoc. for over 35 years as Manager for the Computer Operations Center. Charlotte enjoyed quilting and traveling South and West to visit family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Charlotte is survived and remembered by her son, Allan Sundermeyer of Strawberry Point, Iowa; daughter, Amy (Thad) Manning of Bloomington, Ill.; three grandchildren, Taylor Sundermeyer, Kyle Manning and Megan Manning; brothers, Wayne (Janice) Wilson of Seminole, Texas, Paul (Dana) Wilson of Henderson, Nev., and Jay Wilson of Dolan Springs, Ariz.; sisters, Kay Taylor of Chickasha, Okla., and Allie (John) Norman of Round Mountain, Nev.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Grace Wilson; husband of 52 years, Roger Sundermeyer; and sister, Erlinda Sue Anderson.
