Mrs. Eva Mary Bishop Hougland, 66, former Tipton resident, died June 27 at an Iowa City hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services for Mrs. Hougland were held at Cedar Rapids June 30, with burial in Cedar Memorial cemetery at Cedar Rapids.

She was born Feb. 25, 1902, at Wellman. She was married to Arlie M. Bishop in 1927 in Cedar Rapids. Mr. Bishop died in November of 1954.

She was married to Forest Hougland on Aug. 25, 1957. Mr. Hougland died in December of 1961.

Mrs. Hougland was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection and Women of the Moose lodge, chapter No. 515 in Cedar Rapids. She had resided in Marion for the last 5 years after living in Cedar Raids and Tipton.

Survivors are a son, George Bishop, Marion; 2 daughters, Mrs. Hubert Walker, Springville and Mrs. Richard Eidel, Marion; 12 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Paul Rion of Whittier.
