John Elgin Dole Dies.
John Elgin Dole, age 3, son of Prof. and Mrs. Harry L. Dole, died Monday at 6:30 p.m. following a brief illness at the family home, 363 Eleventh street. He was born May 9, 1925. He is survived by his parents, his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Dole, of Marion and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday. A short prayer service at the family home at 2:30 p.m. will be followed by further services at the Methodist church at 3 p.m. with the Rev. W.E. Fisher, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery.
