Emma Margaret Nemecek Young, 90, a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids, died Monday at Heritage Acres Care Center, where she had resided the past five months.
She was born Aug. 22, 1892, in Cedar Rapids, and was married to William F. Young June 6, 1915. He died June 14, 1944.
Mrs. Young attended Dairy Dale Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Opal Prior of Estherville, seven grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services 10 a.m. Wednesday at Beatty-Beurle-Murdoch's, 821 Third Ave SE, by the Rev. Richard Mayfield of First Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids. Burial Cedar Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
