Nelson Cassidy, 77, died at the county home at 3:30 p.m. yesterday after a long illness. He was formerly a stone mason and lived in Cedar Rapids and this vicinity for many years. Three sons, Carl, Jess and Harry, all of this city survive him besides several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Beatty chapel at 2:30 p.m. Saturday conducted by the Rev. Frank Ward. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
