GEORGE ETZEL DIES, FUNERAL WEDNESDAY
George Etzel, 63, prominent retired farmer, died at 4 p.m. Sunday at his home, 1590 Tenth street, following a ten days' illness of pneumonia. He was born in Alburnett Nov. 22, 1860 and has spent his entire life time in and near Marion.
He was married Aug. 18, 1892 to Miss Amelia Atz. Three children were born to them, all dying in infancy. He leaves besides his wife, three brothers, Henry Etzel, Lafayette; Jacob and Levi, Alburnett. One brother, Albert, died in December 1922.
He was a member of the Methodist church joining it about twenty-five years ago.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Methodist church. The Rev. Earl A. Baker will be in charge and burial will be made in Oak Shade cemetery.
